Hannah and I are at home by ourselves most days (at least for another week). As she is entering in the oh so fun stage that hits about three, my patience most days is regularly challenged. But then there are the moments that I am so amazed at my beautiful little girl. She can be so sweet and loving and it gives me something to hold on to during those aggravating, but necessary, moments.

The other day when I went to check on her during bed time, I found her doing something that was quite adorable. First of all, she loves babies, real or not. She can cuddle an imaginary baby just as much as she will a doll, and she is drawn to all living babies as well. Needless to say, she has accumulated many dolls. Whether they are hand me downs or gifts, she can never have enough. She lined a bunch of them on her bed and was kissing each one good night and talking oh so sweetly. I had to take a picture, which of course, she relishes having done.
The other thing about Hannah is she loves outside. She is so carefree and curious and she is really into cause and effect (this is also a point of frustration). She really enjoys "helping" in the garden and seeing nature at work. We were doing some planting the other day and I was explaining to her why worms are good for our garden. After a few minutes and she saw another one she said "Hi worm, how are you?". It amazes me how polite she can be.
It is crazy how time seems to accelerate as we get older. She really isn't a baby anymore. But I always remind her when she tells me that, she will always be
my baby, even when she is 60.
